ATLACATL are an established name within the extreme metal underground, bringing together musicians with prior experience in Serpens Aeon, The Chasm, and other projects active since the early 1990s. Their background reflects a long-standing commitment to the genre and a shared foundation built across decades of underground metal activity.
With only one demo released to date, Through the Veil of Existence, ATLACATL have already defined a strong artistic identity. Their sound is rooted in black metal tradition, characterized by spectral vocals, carefully structured arrangements, and arpeggiated riffs supported by melodic bass work. The result is a raw yet controlled approach that remains faithful to the old-school spirit of the style.

Their first demo was recorded by the band and mastered by Samuel Osbourne (Hulder). ATLACATL are currently developing new material, which will be presented for the first time in Mexico before its release through Vomit Records.
